Collaboration opportunities: proposal of 2 internships and 1 PhD position, and information about our academic program

CASPEO isreaching out to explore potential collaboration opportunities with your department of mining and mineral processing. First, we are currently offering two specialized internships and have an open position for a Ph.D. candidate within our company. We believe that some of your students could be interested by these opportunities within CASPEO where they could gain valuable hands-on experience alongside our mineral processing experts in modelling and simulation and contribute to cutting-edge projects. The details of these opportunities are as follows. Detailed offers are attached.

1.      Internship: Mineral processing/Mineralogy - Master II or Master I/Master II

Description: Processing and using data from automated mineralogical analysis systems

Duration/Place: 6 months at CASPEO’s office in Orléans (France)

2.      Internship: Mineral processing/Process engineering - Master II or Master I/Master II

Description: Modeling hydrometallurgical operations: solvent extraction

Duration/Place: 6 months at CASPEO’s office in Orléans (France)

3.      Ph.D. Position: Mineral Processing/Process Engineering

Description: Development of a predictive model of mineral concentration operations based on quantitative mineralogy for the design and monitoring of ore treatment processes. Application to the case of lithium ore co-products in a zero-waste perspective in the framework of the EXCEED Horizon Europe project.

Place: mainly at CASPEO's office in Orléans (France), with periods spent in ENSG’s laboratories (Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Géologie de Nancy), and even in other European laboratories

In addition to these opportunities, I am pleased to introduce our Education and Research License Program. This program offers your institution access to our process analysis software (USIM PAC process simulation software, BILCO mass balancing software and ECHANT sampling software) for teaching activities, allowing students to enhance their practical skills. Moreover, we encourage the utilization of our software for research purposes and other beneficial activities. Special rates and free licenses are available to ensure accessibility for your academic community.
