• Ποιοτικός έλεγχος ορυκτών πρώτων υλών και παραπροϊόντων τους με έμφαση σε αδρανή, δομικά υλικά και στερεά καύσιμα. Δειγματοληψία, εργαστηριακές μετρήσεις, στατιστικός έλεγχος και συστήματα διασφάλισης ποιότητας.
• Υγιεινή και Ασφάλεια σε Μεταλλευτικά Έργα (υπόγεια & επιφανειακά μεταλλεία, λατομεία αδρανών υλικών και μαρμάρων) και σε Γεωτεχνικά Έργα (Σήραγγες, Εκσκαφές κ.ά.).
• Εφαρμογή τεχνικών προσομοίωσης, στοχαστικών μεθόδων ανάλυσης, γεωστατιστικής, νευρωνικών δικτύων, ασαφούς ελέγχου και έμπειρων συστημάτων, σε τομείς έρευνας, εκμετάλλευσης, ποιοτικού ελέγχου ορυκτών πόρων και εκτίμησης των σχετιζόμενων εργασιακών και περιβαλλοντικών κινδύνων.
• Σχεδίαση και λειτουργική ανάλυση συστημάτων εκμετάλλευσης ορυκτών υλών και περιβαλλοντικής αποκατάστασης.
